Updates

  • The Deacons will meet following worship this Sunday, May 18th.
  • The Ames-More Guild will be holding their Annual Meeting on May 21st at the Olive Garden in Leominster at 6:00pm. We will be setting up carpooling.
  • Sunday, May 25th is our monthly food collection for the Templeton Food Pantry. Some of the items they are always running out of are: Ensure, Gatorade, soap (bar or liquid), shampoo, toothpaste, dish soap, laundry soap, dog food, cat food, and cleaning products. These are suggestions, but any non-perishable item is greatly appreciated. FYI: canned goods are good for a year after “best by” or expiration dates. Please remember those less fortunate than us. 
  • The Central Mass. Association of the Southern New England Conference of the UCC of which we are a part, sent us an invitation to a Woo Sox game on Sunday, July 20th at 1:05 pm. The cost is $35 per person which includes a 2-hour food buffet along with other special perks. If you’ve been to a Woo Sox game, you know how expensive food is there.  To reserve tickets please email your request to [email protected]. Please include your name, contact information and number of tickets. You will receive a confirmation email with payment information. On the date of the game tickets will be held at Will Call in your name. If you have any questions, please reach out to Bob Kersting at the above email address or call him at 774-452-0137.   • We have received an invitation to the annual Silver Tea at the Phillipston Congregational church to be held on Thursday 5/22/25 at 12:30 pm. If you would like to attend, please contact Ellen Tannehill at 619-244-2568 by May 15th.
  • Finally, the date for Wilma’s funeral is Saturday, June 28th at our church. Time will be announced as we get closer to the date. Rev. Richard Jones will be doing the funeral.
  • If you know of anyone in the hospital, homebound, or in need of a visit, please contact Chairperson of the Deacons, Joanne. We need everyone’s help keeping in touch with our church family.
  • Our organist, Michelle, is looking for magazines to use in her classes at Monty Tech.  If you have some you are getting rid of, please let Barbara know so arrangements can be made to pick them up.
